What & How?

What is solar power?

An Electrical Solar Power Energy System generates electricity directly from sun light, whatever the weather, which can be consumed by the house hold.

How does it work?

Solar modules are made up of a group of PV cells. They consist of 2 layers of silicon wafers which become positively and negatively charged when sunlight hits them producing DC electricity. The DC electricity flows into the inverter converting it into 240V AC electricity. The AC electricity supplies your house hold appliances, with any surplus being fed back into the grid, generating a credit on your energy bill. At night when the solar modules are not producing electricity, the electricity comes to you from the grid. If you export enough energy during the day it will balance out the amount you draw from the grid at night.
